Jamaica

When Anton first began painting this magnificent piece, it was inspired by the need for something bright and colorful since he had just gotten through Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana where he had his studio and it had been a dreary and bleak time. I recall him saying he had gone outside to see the most beautiful sky and started painting it on a canvas. He also had a studio in Jamaica, so this painting is a surrealist interpretation of a flood in Jamaica with all the amazing colors and style of Anton's work.
